The Temporal and Spatial Behaviors of CME Occurrence Rate at Different Latitudes

Abstract The statistical study of the coronal mass ejections (CMEs) is a hot topic in solar physics. To further reveal temporal and spatial behaviors CMEs at different latitudes heights, we analyzed correlation phase relationships between occurrence rate CMEs, brightness index (CBI), 10.7 cm radio flux (F10.7). We found that correlates with CBI relatively stronger high (≥60°) than low (≤50°). At latitudes, weaker F10.7. There relationship F10.7, during Solar Cycle 24 (SC24) 23 (SC23). During SC23, high-latitude CME lags behind F10.7 by 3 months, SC24, low-latitude leads 1 month. coefficient values turn out to be larger when very faint are removed from samples CDAW catalog. Based on our results, may speculate source regions high/low-latitude vary height, process magnetic energy accumulation dissipation lower upper atmosphere Sun. offsets indicators could help us better understand physical processes responsible for solar-terrestrial interactions.
